Ping Pong HQ OPENS - Rated TOURNAMENT

Date: 6th of July for RC1300 and under and 13th of July for RC1301 and Over- deadline for registration is 3rd of July and 10th of July respectively.

Time: 8:30am Warmup for 9am sharp start.

All Matches will go towards Rating Central- best of 5 matches and all ITTF rules apply.

Trophies and Medals given to Top 3 of each RC Group.

JJW Battle of Heroes

Round robin tournament of usually 3 to 4 ordered groups by RC. Always best of 5 sets. Some snacks provided. Medals for first and second in each group. Usually get around 8 matches with other players.

When: Twice a month on a Saturday (check website) 8:30am (warmup) 9am start to 2pm

Round robin tournament of usually 3 ordered groups by RC. Always best of 5 sets.

When: Twice a month on a Sunday (check website) Usually get around 8 matches with other players.

Round robin tournament of usually 2 ordered groups by RC. Best of three sets usually, depending on numbers. Usually get around 8 matches with other players.

SNDTTA Spring Comp 2024

All players need membership to both SNDTTA and TTNSW. (see below)

Deadline of registration: 12th July 2024 (no late submission will be granted as draw needs to be done to expect to start the game on 29th July 2024).

SNDTTA & TTNSW Membership (both are compulsory)

All players must register to be SNDTTA members (https://form.jotform.com/240021817611848) and also TTNSW district member Membership - Table Tennis New South Wales (ttnsw.org.au) SNDTTA Membership is annual for all of 2024.

If you also play Veterans or Western Sydney or State tournaments like NSW Open, then state membership is required).

Table Tennis NSW is pleased to advise that we have added – Centrelink – concession card holders to the “Social” category

This includes: Age & Disability pensions, Youth Allowance and Job seeker – payments

Team composition

There will be six divisions:

Premier: Over RC 1550

Div One: RC above 1350 to 1550

Div Two: RC above 1150 to 1350

Div Three: RC above 1000 to 1150

Div Four: RC above 850 to 1000

Div Five: RC Below 851

The RC cut off date (reference date for players' RC) is as at 23rd June 2024. Since the cut off date is a future date, please lodge the form using the current RC and the committee will inform your captain if the team players aren't eligible.

All games continue to have 9 rubbers. 6 singles and 3 doubles.

A player can register one level above their RC range (i.e. you can register for two divisions in the same club or different clubs). However each team must compose at least 3 players who are within that designated RC range. For instance, a Div Two team must have at least three players within the RC range of 1150 to 1350.

Each team can submit their players’ preference of grade and based on the preferences, the committee will make the final grading decision.

Finally, there are no time outs but towel breaks can be used.
